Born of the Spirit

After you have believed, repented and been baptized in Jesus Name you have been “Born of the Water” like Jesus told Nicodemus John 3:1-5.

Now you must be “born of the Spirit” in order to enter into the Kingdom of God. A lot of people have different ideas of how can someone is born of the Spirit. Instead of listening to people’s opinions; Why not listen to Jesus Christ? After all, it is HIS Kingdom we must enter.

Let’s see how He explained being born of the Spirit.
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Jesus compared being born of the Spirit as when the wind blows.
You won’t be able to see the wind but you will hear it. He then said that EVERYONE that is born of the Spirit will be like this also.

You won’t see the Spirit of God but you will hear a sound from the person that is born or is receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

That is exactly what happened in the book of Acts when the Holy Ghost fell for the first time.
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The sound from heaven was the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Nobody saw it but they began to hear the people receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit talking with other tongues as the Spirit gave them the ability.

Some people try to say that this is NOT for us today but that contradicts the scriptures.

Peter said it like this:
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy…

God wants to pour His Spirit upon ALL FLESH. He will pour it on young people as well as old people. He wants to pour it on you and to everyone in your family.

Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the Promise of the Father which John the Baptist talked about and also Jesus.

John said: Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire…

Jesus said: John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
7:38 He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

In the Old Testament the Holy Ghost would move on the people of God. But now the door was open when the flesh of Jesus Christ was opened and the same Spirit that dwelled in Jesus will dwell in you.

Jesus said: John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Four things you must do to receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost:

1. Believe that Jesus paid the price for all your sins with his own blood and life.
2. Repent from all your sins and turn away from them.
3. Get baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.
4. Begin asking God EARNESTLY for the Baptism of The Holy Ghost.

Jesus said it like this:
Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

How would you know if you have received the Baptism of The Holy Ghost?
Remember, you will know by the sound that comes out of your mouth. When God pours His Spirit in a person, He pours it in the person’s heart (Romans 5:5) and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will begin to speak (Luke 6:45).

How did Peter and the ones that were him know that Cornelius and his housed received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost?

Acts 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God…

Don’t let anyone steal this from you! Begin to ask God to fill you with His Spirit like in the book of ACTS. Ask until you receive it.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
